FAQs

What does our ministry do?
Each month, we provide the necessary funds to meet the diatary needs of our selected widows.
How long has our ministry been helping widows?
Since August of 2022, we have been helping 10 widows. Through our travels, we found an area within mexico in significant need in early 2022. We had identified the widows which we intended to help by mid-2022, and started providing direct assistance by August of 2022. However, we are hoping to grow our ministry as the needs of additional widows continue to be identified.
How do we provide help to each of the widows?
We have a family member in the area meet with each of the widows to check-in, provide a lending ear, and distribute funds directly to each of the widows.
How many widows are we currently helping each month?
Currently, we are helping 10 widdows within the Jalisco, Mexico area.
Do we accept donations?
Yes, we do. Please contact us via Steve Bash Music - Contact page for ways to donate (cashapp, venmo, credit card, or check).
How do we select the widows helped?
In short, our selections are based on scripture (1 Timothy 5:3) and the needs of each individual widow. To date, we have selected widows whom we, a close family member, or friend have taken the appropriate time to observe, review, and assess the need for our help. The women we are helping today are all elderly Christian widows with no other options, other than our ministry.
Who funds our ministry?
Funds are ultimately provided by God, which comes through Steve Bash family personal donations, and Steve Bash Music event proceeds (venues & private events). The ministry is not funded through any type of non-profit entity. All proceeds are taxed through the Steve Bash family personal income. All glory be given to God, our provider, our creator, our father.
What was the inspiration for starting our ministry?
1 Timothy 5:3 - "Take care of any widow who has no one else to care for her. But if she has children or grandchildren, their first responsibility is to show godliness at home and repay their parents by taking care of them. This is something that pleases God. Now a true widow, a woman who is truly alone in this world, has placed her hope in God. She prays night and day, asking God for his help. But the widow who lives only for pleasure is spiritually dead even while she lives. Give these instructions to the church so that no one will be open to criticism. But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers. A widow who is put on the list for support must be a woman who is at least sixty years old and was faithful to her husband. She must be well respected by everyone because of the good she has done. Has she brought up her children well? Has she been kind to strangers and served other believers humbly? Has she helped those who are in trouble? Has she always been ready to do good?"
